 Holiday Order FAQs

  • We’re closed Nov 27–29, Dec 24–25, and Dec 31–Jan 1.

    • Thanksgiving week (Nov 25–26 pickups): order by Nov 19 at 12 PM

    • December holiday parties (Dec 19–23): order by Dec 10 at 12 PM

    • Corporate gifting (10+ orders): order at least 10 days ahead

      Important: Dates may close early once we sell out, even before the posted deadline.

  • As early as possible. Holiday weeks often sell out 3 weeks in advance of the cutoff dates.

  • Yes—limited delivery slots are available. Fees depend on distance. Corporate clients can schedule multi-stop delivery routes.

  • Yes. Pickups are from our Berlin, CT shop. Standard pickup windows DURING HOLIDAY WEEK are 9:00AM-4:00 PM. You must pick up between your chosen 1 hour window.

    • Refrigerate immediately after pickup.

    • Remove plastic wrap and bring to room temp 30–45 minutes before serving.

    • Boards served within 24–36 hours of pickup will look and taste their best.

  • No. We’re closed on the holidays themselves. We offer pickups and deliveries before the holiday.

  • We do not set up grazing tables on Nov 27–29, Dec 24–26, or Dec 31–Jan 2. For events the week before, please book early—these slots go first.

  • The XL tray feeds about 25–30 as small-bites appetizers. For 30+ guests, we recommend a grazing table.

  • Possibly. Rush requests (inside 72 hours) are reviewed case-by-case and will incur a rush fee.

  • Yes. During the holidays, supply chains can be tricky. We may make equal or better substitutions to maintain quality and presentation.

  • Yes, within reason. We can add holiday touches, colors, or corporate-branded notes for bulk gifting. Let us know in your inquiry.

  • Payments are non-refundable due to supplier and staffing commitments.

  • If unsafe weather prevents setup or delivery, we’ll arrange a pickup alternative or reschedule when possible.

  • Yes! We handle large-scale gifting, multi-team deliveries, and corporate parties. We can:

    • Deliver to multiple offices/clients

    • Add branded notes or holiday messages

    • Provide consolidated invoicing

  • No. Holiday orders are secured first come, first served. Your spot is held only once payment is received.

  • We can make gluten-friendly, nut-aware, pork-free, or vegetarian options on request. However, our kitchen is not certified allergen-free.

  • Email gather@gatheringboardct.com or click Start My Holiday Order on this page. For grazes please include your date, guest count, style and any dietary notes.

  • Possibly. Changes must be requested at least 48 hours in advance and depend on availability. Holiday weeks are especially tight.

  • Yes! Digital and physical gift cards are available and make a great last-minute gift!
